Signs of bowel cancer

29 Oct 2018 wellness-studio.co.uk

Signs of bowel cancer There are three macroscopic forms of intestinal cancer, the difference of which is determined by the nature of their growth relative to the wall and the size of the bowel cavity. Signs of colon cancer may also vary slightly.
The oncological slogan suspicion is the key to recognition takes on special significance. Signs of colon oncology may also manifest themselves in the general condition of patients:

  • weakness,
  • feeling unwell
  • reduced performance
  • loss of appetite
  • weight loss.
Such signs of bowel cancer as a feeling of heaviness and fullness in the abdomen within 3-4 hours after eating, belching, nausea, rumbling in the stomach, abdominal distension, change in the frequency of defecation, a tendency to constipation are also frequent. Abdominal pain is one of the numerous early signs of malignant tumours of the large intestine. With the disease in the right half of the intestine, pain as a symptom occurs 3 times more often than with the left side. Painful manifestations of colon cancer are caused by inflammation that accompanies tumour lesion of the intestine, and peritoneal reaction, which is relatively soon involved in the tumour process on the right side due to anatomical features.

Signs of colon oncology and pathology prevention

An increase in temperature due to the inflammatory process in the nearby lymph nodes is a frequent companion of pain and an alarming symptom of colon cancer. Pathological impurities in the stool (blood, mucus) are not pathognomonic signs of colon tumours, but always require the exclusion of this pathology. The blood is mixed with, or its appearance precedes the act of defecation in cases of colon tumours, unlike bleeding from haemorrhoids. Scarlet blood flow is typical for cancer of the anal canal and rectum. Dark blood is more characteristic of the left half of the colon.
In cancer of the right half, latent bleeding is usually observed. Chronic blood loss in tumours of the proximal colon leads to anaemia with pale skin and weakness. In some cases, the first symptom of a neoplasm in the colon is a tumour-like consolidation in the abdominal cavity, found by a patient or doctor, which is a very serious indicator of the latent course of the disease in a significant number of patients. The feeling of incomplete emptying or false urge to defecate is noted as special features in cancer of the distal colon and rectum, which is one of the manifestations of intestinal obstruction.
Any signs of colon cancer are a reason to seek help from specialists. Good prevention of the disease is to maintain the body in a healthy state, colonic hydrotherapy will help in this.
