Siphon colonic irrigation

25 Sep 2018 wellness-studio.co.uk

Siphon colonic irrigation Siphon colonic irrigation is carried out to empty the intestine and get rid of faecal matter, mucus and gases. Technically, the procedure is carried out using a unique installation. Mineralised water can be used to wash the intestine.
Colonic irrigation as a healing procedure and as an integral part of practising medicine has a centuries-old history but acquires a scientific justification only from the end of the XVIII to the beginning of the XIX century.
The procedure improves the well-being of patients, eliminates the puffiness of the face, helps to cleanse the skin from various rashes, including those caused by an allergic reaction, increases the elasticity of the skin, helps to reduce the overweight of patients without any special diet or fasting, significantly lowers cholesterol in the blood. This method combined the advantages of cleansing and syphon enemas and eliminated their shortcomings, such as, for example, an increase in intestinal pressure which may lead to the development of intestinal atony.

The procedure of syphon colonic irrigation

It is known that the intestinal mucosa is the most complex organ of exchange between intestinal contents and the internal environment of the body. Hence the task of cleaning the intestine is, first of all, the elimination of the pathological process in the gut itself, which is the source of infection for the body, as well as the stabilisation of its microflora and electrolyte balance. Conversely, a healthy intestine can and should be used to eliminate the excretion of endotoxins from the body during various diseases of internal organs.
After cleansing enema, the patient is laid on the couch on his back, or right side with knees bent up and inserting the speculum into the rectum. The free end of the hose, which length should be 120-125 cm, is connected to a container filled with mineral water.
After filling the intestine with water, you should wait 2-3 minutes, and then withdraw water from the colon through the speculum-hose by switching the three-way tap. This manipulation is repeated several times within half an hour. Simultaneously, you can introduce from 0.5 to 1.0 litres of solution into the colon, and use 6 to 9 litres on the entire procedure.
For washing the intestine, mineralised water with a temperature of 32-38C is used. A course of 3 or 4 colonics is usually prescribed at intervals of 1 or 2 days between treatments.
Colonic Irrigation is performed in our clinic in London under the supervision of specialists.
