Toxins, herbicides and other dangerous components for the body

Symptoms of colon cancer. Toxins like Zearalenone, herbicides and other dangerous components for the body

Colonic irrigation may help remove toxins that have accumulated in the body. Glyphosate and certain herbicides harm mammals, humans and soil microbial ecosystems. Investigations of the degradation of glyphosate and bioremediation in the soil using Bacillus subtilis (Bs-15) have shown that the optimal conditions for these processes were less than 10 000 mg/L glyphosate at a temperature of 35°C and a pH of 8.0.

Results

Optimal fermentation occurred at 180 rpm for 60 h with an inoculum ratio of 4%. Bs-15 degraded 17.65% to 66.97% of glyphosate in sterile soil and 19.01% to 71.57% in unsterilised soil.

Using the BIOLOG ECO plate test, we did not notice any significant difference in the average colour formation between the soil inoculated with Bs-15 and the control soil for up to 72 hours. However, there was a significant difference (P <0.01) after 72 hours.

These results indicate that Bs-15 can decontaminate glyphosate-containing herbicides, thereby increasing the microbial functionality in previously contaminated soils.

Toxins in food and getting rid of them

Zearalenone (ZEN) is one of the more virulent mycotoxins. Besides, it has become a severe hazard to the health of plants, animals and humans. However, vitamin C (Vc) is an effective antidote against ZEN. Further, this article explains the results of an investigation of the effects that diets containing ZEN have on growth rates and the impact of vitamin C.

Piglets were weaned at the age of 21 days, and 32 healthy female hybrid weaning piglets. The trial period was twenty-eight days. The results showed that adding 150 mg/kg of vitamin C to dietary zearalenone prevented deformation in the vulva. That measure also reduced immune response capacity. It changes serum biochemical parameters and hormone levels of piglets that received a diet containing only zearalenone.

Mechanism

In conclusion, giving ZEN 1.0 mg/kg can lead to a harmful effect on piglets. This study showed the mechanism of vitamin C inhibition for pigs’ reproductive toxicity and hematologic toxicity caused by ZEN. And which gave new ideas for reducing the harm of mycotoxins to animals by regulating nutrition.
