Platelets Rich Plasma Injections – three session
Aesthetic medicine uses Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections to rejuvenate and slow ageing. This treatment utilises the person's unique tissue growth factors and healing properties to revitalise mesenchymal-epithelial tissue. A clinician needs to draw a small volume of the client's blood (10-20 ml). Further, centrifugation separates PRP from blood. Then, your therapist injects it with a fine needle into identified areas. It may take a few weeks (or months in case of hair re-growth) for the PRP therapy results to become visible. We recommend two to three top-ups every four to six months. Then, you can expect PRP therapy's effects to last up to one and a half years. Recovery time is minimal. Mild discomfort at the injection site, minimal swelling, and rarely bruising were reported. However, you can alleviate it with an ice pack and mild painkillers.
The duration of the treatment is 60 minutes.
