Face rejuvenation with fillers, BOTOX, mesotherapy, PRP & PDO
Our aesthetic medicine centre in Chiswick, London, offers a revolutionary face rejuvenation treatment that combines fillers, Botox, mesotherapy, PRP, and PDO threads. This treatment provides an effective and long-lasting solution to the signs of ageing, such as wrinkles, sagging skin and dull complexion.
The process starts with dermal fillers injected into specific areas of the face to reduce wrinkles and add volume to the skin. Next, Botox relaxes the muscles to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. Mesotherapy then nourishes the skin and promotes cell regeneration. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) follows for collagen stimulation and skin rejuvenation. Finally, PDO threads provide an immediate tightening effect on the skin and a long-term impact of lifting.
The treatment takes up to one hour, and the effects are immediately visible. If you repeat the treatment regularly, the results can last up to two years.

WHAT IS AN ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTION?
Anti-wrinkle injections are a simple, non-surgical procedure that relaxes the muscles of your face to smooth deep, persistent lines between eyebrows, on the forehead and around the eyes (Crow’s feet). One 10-minute treatment – a few tiny injections will relax muscles for up to 4 months.
WHAT IS BOTULINUM TOXIN?
Bacteria produce botulinum, which is a toxic substance. Then laboratories highly refine, purify, dilute and use it in therapeutic doses. Physicians administer Botulinum or Anti-wrinkle injections by injecting it into a specific facial muscle, where it acts as a muscle relaxant.
Who would benefit from Anti-wrinkle Injections?
Anyone can benefit from botulinum toxin, both men and women. Botulinum is most effective in improving lines or wrinkles due to facial expressions, for example, worry lines or frown lines on the forehead and between the eyebrows. It is because, usually, over-active muscles cause these lines. And the treatment stops these muscles from contracting and causing wrinkles. You should not have treatment with botulinum if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a neurological disease or have a known hypersensitivity to it.
How long do Anti-wrinkle Injections take?
In most cases, the treatment will take between 10 and 20 minutes. Effects will appear quickly within 48 to 72 hours, although the full extent of the medicine may not be visible for up to 10 days. It may take approximately two weeks after the first treatment. Your practitioner will review the effects and discuss any further treatments, anti-wrinkle injections, or top-ups.
Is the treatment uncomfortable?
Physicians use very tiny needles and administer only small amounts. As a result, any discomfort is usually minimal and short-lived; there is no need for local anaesthesia.
Are there any adverse effects?
In a small number of cases, there may be some localised bruising, slight swelling, or redness at the injection site. It usually disappears quickly and can respond to applying a cold pack to the area. A temporary drooping eyelid has also occurred in some patients. See the manufacturer’s information for rare side effects. Thousands of patients had anti-wrinkle injections over the last fifteen years. They had it in a controlled laboratory environment, highly purified, and administered in tiny quantities. It has an excellent safety profile. You can resume normal daily activities as soon as your treatment is over.
Do the effects of this treatment look artificial?
Unlike some surgical facelifts, this kind of treatment is particular and works only on those muscles producing the facial lines you want to reduce. Other muscles are unaffected, so your usual facial expressions remain the same.
How long will the effects of this treatment last?
Initially, the improvement you receive from this treatment will last from 3 to 4 months. You will notice a gradual fading of effect, and at this stage, you can return for another treatment if you want to. With repeated treatments with anti-wrinkle injections, the effect lasts longer.
WHAT ARE THEY?
As the skin ages, it gradually loses some of its collagen, hyaluronic acid, and fat. These materials prevent the skin from becoming droopy or saggy. Dermal fillers help restore our skin to its former youthful appearance. We inject this material into the skin in areas that need to plump up again and look firmer.
Which one do you use?
There are many kinds of fillers, and new ones are coming onto the market every day. Generally, they consist of either collagen or hyaluronic acid and last 6-12 months. Some common brand names include Teosyal, Restylane, Hydrafill, Juvederm and Radiesse. We use Teosyal, an Award-winning 100% hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler.
We use dermal fillers as a non-animal product. They cause less pain and swelling on injection. Moreover, they are very versatile and have a superb safety record. Furthermore, they are temporary, allowing you to reassess your needs in 6-12 months. Clinicians injected over 600,000 syringes before January 2008. Less than 1 in 20,000 reported any short-term and mild side effects.
Which areas can be treated with Dermal Fillers?
- Nasolabial lines (nose to cheek lines)
- Diagonal lines from the corner of the mouth (marionette lines)
- Vertical lines around the mouth (smokers' lines)
- Frown lines
- Horizontal brow lines
- Scar treatment (including acne scars)
Does it hurt?
The injections usually last under 5 minutes. The needle is incredibly tiny, and pain is usually not an issue, especially after the numbing cream.
What are the possible side effects of dermal fillers?
These are incredibly safe injections. There may be slight redness, swelling at the injection site, and occasionally minor bruising. This bruising generally subsides over 72 hours. You can avoid lumps at the injection site by massaging the product.
When will I see the results, and how long will it last?
The results are visible immediately. The degree of correction depends on the patient's wishes and the amount of product used. The result is that dermal fillers usually last 6-12 months.
What are the benefits of Mesotherapy over surgical techniques such as liposuction?
Mesotherapy treats cellulite. Liposuction does not treat cellulite and often makes existing cellulite appear more prominent. Mesotherapy treats cellulite directly, promoting smoother skin and reducing fat in selected areas. Fat deposits are flushed from the body and do not reappear in other areas, often after liposuction. Mesotherapy does not require hospitalization, general anaesthesia, or downtime.
Which cosmetic conditions can Mesotherapy treat?
Mesotherapy is suitable for a broad spectrum of injuries, illnesses, and medical conditions. It also treats cosmetic conditions, including acne, cellulite, stretch marks, scars, and wrinkles. It is also suitable for reducing and contouring fat.
What are Mesotherapy's anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation uses?
Subdermal vitamin injections rejuvenate the cells while making them more active and stimulating collagen and elastin production. Anti-ageing treatments can be begun in one's mid-twenties to prevent wrinkles from forming. Specialists recommend treatments for the face, neck, arms, and hands several times yearly.
How does Mesotherapy reduce or eliminate cellulite and fat?
Mesotherapy treats three factors involved in cellulite formation. Your practitioner creates a specific formula to reduce the fat in your cellulite, improve impaired circulation and break down damaged connective tissue, smoothing the skin's surface. Mesotherapy can treat cellulite located anywhere on the body.
When will I see the results?
Results vary depending on your body type and the condition you treat. On average, patients notice visible improvement in two to three sessions. For certain conditions, patients see results after the first session.
Will the results last?
The results do last, especially when combined with exercise and proper nutrition. However, we cannot stop the natural ageing that affects your appearance. For this reason, we recommend regular maintenance visits.
Are the treatments painful?
After the injection, you may feel a slight pinching or burning sensation. However, we can provide a topical anaesthetic that makes the treatment painless.
Are there any side effects?
A common side effect of Mesotherapy is bruising, which generally resolves over one week. We recommend that the homoeopathic supplement Arnica be taken orally or applied topically daily to speed up healing. Patients may experience temporary soreness, which will subside within 24-48 hours.
Are there any restrictions?
Restrictions vary depending on what condition you wish to treat. We discuss these with each patient before treatments commence. Generally, patients are advised not to wear makeup for at least 4 hours after facial treatments and not to take hot showers for at least 6 to 8 hours. We recommend that patients eat a high-protein meal and avoid caffeine or other stimulants before treatment.
The gentle facelift that lasts.
Non-surgical polydioxanone(PDO) is a potent synthetic fibre. It consists of one filament (mono-filament) or two filaments twisted solid (poly filament), which dissolve after a specific time in the tissue.
Polydioxanone has been a material available for use in medicine for many years. Besides, PDO Beauty Lift Threads stimulate the tissue neocollagenesis process - which stimulates the production of new collagen - the protein responsible for the tension and firmness of the skin. In addition, stimulation of fibroblasts stimulates the synthesis of elastin - the protein responsible for skin firmness and elasticity.
The PDO thread introduction technology uses natural skin tension lines, which also cause an effect similar to a surgical facelift. Thanks to the PDO threads, we can also limit the strength of facial muscles. Introducing the PDO thread in the skin also immediately improves its appearance. Moreover, the synthesis begins with the body's natural proteins (collagen and elastin) after about ten to fourteen days. Meanwhile, this process continues throughout maintaining the threads in the body (up to six to eight months). The resulting aesthetic effects typically persist for up to thirty-six months. Lifting PDO thread is a treatment dedicated primarily to patients aged thirty to sixty-five.
What are the effects of a non-surgical polydioxanone facelift?
The PDO Beauty Lift Threads effects are:
- Skin rejuvenation
- Smoothing wrinkles
- Narrowing the pores
- Skin Lightening
- Increase the volume
- Lifting the skin
Besides, polydioxanone sutures may provide wound support for an extended period compared to other synthetic absorbable sutures. Moreover, polydioxanone suture offers far superior tensile strength.
The treatment takes approximately thirty to sixty minutes in just one session and does not require hospitalisation or general anaesthetic.
Once you've had the treatment, we recommend following a series of indications at home:
- Apply the localised cold for the first few hours after treatment.
- Wash the area very carefully five hours after the procedure.
- Avoid intense massages in the treated area for one month.
- If bruising occurs, apply Traumeel for the first few days.

A contraindication is when you should not consider dermal fillers:
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
- Skin infection near the site of injection
- Allergy to hyaluronic acid
- Taking warfarin
- Suppose you were taking clopidogrel, aspirin, high-dose vitamin C or omega-three oils. You may need to stop those one week before your appointment, as long as it is not a medical contraindication.
- Avoid wearing make-up until the next day to keep the area clean.
- Do not use sunbeds, sauna, or steam room until any swelling has resolved after Dermal Fillers.
We naively believe that wrinkles will not appear on our faces at a young age, even at 40. Despite the great desire to remain beautiful, age changes are still coming. Age changes also adversely affect body shape. It is imperative to reconcile with natural ageing or allow yourself to stay attractive, regardless of age. For those who always want to look luxurious, PDO thread-face-lifting offers the newest achievements in skin bio-regeneration. So, experts can now apply a unique rejuvenation method - PDO thread-face-lifting.
Threads
PDO thread lifting is suitable for different areas of the face and body. Moreover, with the help of threads, you can:
- remove wrinkles around the eyes, in the cheek and forehead area;
- correct the face oval - make it clear and accurate;
- Smooth nasolabial folds and creases in the neck, decollete and chest;
- carry out lifting of the upper and lower eyelids, raise eyebrows, correct the line of cheekbones;
- remove age-related changes in the inner surface of the shoulders, elbows and underarms;
- make the skin of the abdomen taut and elastic;
- carry out a skin tightening in the back, thighs and buttocks;
- Conduct rejuvenation of the knee and ankle area.

Wrinkles relaxing treatment with Botulinum toxin, a remarkable cosmetic procedure, effectively rejuvenates your appearance. Besides, this treatment actively targets the muscles responsible for facial wrinkles, rendering a smoother, more youthful complexion. When necessary, it also elevates your eyebrows, enhancing your overall facial aesthetics.
Typically, the results of this procedure endure for approximately four months. This means you can enjoy a revitalized look for a substantial period, making it attractive for those seeking temporary yet impactful transformations.
But where can you apply these magical wrinkles relaxing injections to reap their benefits?
The treatment caters to a variety of problem areas that commonly exhibit signs of ageing:
- Frown lines (Glabella): These stubborn lines between your eyebrows often convey an unintended appearance of tension or dissatisfaction. Botulinum toxin effectively smooths these lines, leaving you with a more relaxed and pleasant countenance.
- Forehead lines: Forehead wrinkles can be quite prominent and may contribute to an aged appearance. By targeting the muscles in your forehead, this treatment actively minimizes these lines, restoring a youthful and radiant look.
- Crow's feet (lines around the eyes): The delicate skin around your eyes is prone to fine lines and wrinkles. With this intervention, you can bid farewell to those crow's feet, achieving a more vibrant and alert appearance.
- Bunny lines (on the side of the nose): Even minor wrinkles around your nose can be a concern. Botulinum toxin works wonders here, ensuring a smoother and more refined look.
- Perioral lines (smoker's lines): These fine lines around the mouth often result from various facial expressions, not just smoking. The treatment actively diminishes these lines, rejuvenating your smile.
- Eyebrow lift: For those desiring a subtle lift, this treatment can elevate the eyebrows. This enhances the openness of your eyes, imparting a more youthful and inviting gaze.
Summary
In summary, the wrinkles relaxing treatment with Botulinum toxin offers a non-invasive, temporary solution to combat the signs of ageing. Its active approach in targeting specific facial muscles ensures a refreshed and natural look, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a rejuvenated appearance without surgical interventions. Whether it's frown lines, forehead wrinkles, or crow's feet, this procedure can revitalize your appearance, leaving you looking and feeling your best for months.
