Acupuncture – course of 8 treatments

Your first visit requires an initial consultation and treatment. It usually lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes. Follow-up treatment lasts at least 1 hour. TCM acupuncturists will diagnose based on the collected complete clinical information (including medical history, pulse reading, tongue examination, signs and symptoms information, palpation, etc.). Individual personalised diagnosis lets practitioners create uniquely personal treatment plans (including the formula of acupuncture points and possible use of moxa, cupping, guasha, or massage manipulation).

It takes several sessions of acupuncture.

Any aspect of the chosen procedure will be discussed, including 'the after-treatment care', and You should sign the Consent forms. After inserting the needles, which have been chosen according to the treatment plan, the needles can sometimes be stimulated for better therapeutic effects. The retention of needles can take 20-30 minutes. In most cases, recommendations about diet, exercise and lifestyle will be given to prevent further progress of the existing problems and to increase the effectiveness of the natural healing process. The number of required treatments depends on the condition and will be discussed with you. In most cases, however, it takes several visits(approx. for three months).
