Mesotherapy for fat and cellulite reduction is an aesthetic treatment where a specially prepared cocktail of vitamins, homoeopathic ingredients, amino acids and medications is injected into the problem areas that are resistant to diet and exercise. Vitamins and amino acids are used to tighten sagging skin while other agents are used to removing areas of fat that are then dissolved and excreted through the bloodstream by the kidneys and bowel.

Mesotherapy is a process of breaking down the underlying fat membrane with injections of naturally occurring proteins and enzymes

This can be an effective treatment to remove pockets of fat on the face (reduction of lower eyelid pads, double chin and jowl areas) neck, axillary folds, back rolls, "saddle bags", inner and upper arms, inner and outer thighs, region above knee, cellulite, lipomas, body sculpting and defining body contours. There is some swelling, redness and bruising to the injection site may occur that will last a few days but could be helped by applying a cold compress, support garments and taking mild painkillers such as Paracetamol. A course of 8-10 sessions is advised for optimal results every 2 weeks. 60 minutes

I went to Parkland Health Clinic for a mesotherapy session. The clinic is conveniently located in Central London, with easy access from my workplace. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the therapist who explained to me the treatment in full before she started with the procedure. The therapist then tried a few techniques until she found one that would best suit me. i am now planning to come back before the end of the year.*
