Platelets Rich Plasma Injections - three session
Aesthetic medicine uses Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections to rejuvenate and slow the ageing process. This treatment utilises the person's unique tissue growth factors and healing properties to revitalise mesenchymal-epithelial tissue. Moreover, it improves the blood supply and stimulates collagen and elastin formation. The results of which enhance and increase over time.
A clinician needs to draw a small volume of the client's blood (10-20 ml). Further, centrifugation separates PRP from blood. Then, your therapist injects it with a fine needle into identified areas. It may take a few weeks (or months, in the case of hair regrowth) for the results of PRP therapy to become visible. We recommend two to three top-ups every four to six months. Then you can expect the effects of PRP therapy to last up to 1.5 years. Recovery time is minimal. Mild discomfort at the injection site, minimal swelling, and rarely bruising were reported. However, you can alleviate it with an ice pack and mild painkillers.
The treatment lasts 60 minutes.
