The OptiBac Probiotics brand was created in 2004 by three siblings and their father, all with a passion for health & well-being. The brand specialises entirely in live cultures and considers this their expertise, emphasising how different strains (specific types of live cultures) work differently. The strains found within OptiBac Probiotics are of the highest quality. And each strain undergoes rigorous testing. So you can be confident you'll find a high-quality supplement for your needs.
OptiBac Probiotics has partnered with some of the world-leading institutes in the field and develops an expert range of the highest quality. The range boasts some of the most researched strains in the world. The company is completely transparent regarding the makeup of its products. They cite the microorganism's family, species, and strain, unlike many others. OptiBac Probiotics is proud to be the brand that introduced many strains to the UK, including pure Saccharomyces boulardii, Bifidobacterium lactis BB-12®, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GR-1® and Lactobacillus reuteri RC-14®.
Customers worldwide review OptiBac Probiotics daily and comment on how they enjoy using them. Why not try them yourself and see what you think?
Diet & Nutrition
At OptiBac Probiotics, the customer's health comes first, and they offer supplements in capsules or sachets because they firmly believe this is the best method to take live cultures. Many people associate live cultures with yoghurt drinks, which can contain very well-researched strains. But, they are often extremely high in sugar or artificial sweeteners like aspartame, a chemical thought to have toxic effects on the body. The OptiBac Probiotics range is free from unnecessary additives and boasts some of the most researched strains in the world. The range offers different live culture supplements to meet individual needs rather than a "one size fits all" approach.
Corporate & Social Responsibility
OptiBac Probiotics takes its responsibility to be transparent to customers very seriously. As such, have the policy to ensure full disclosure of all ingredients used in each product. This way, retailers and consumers can make informed decisions when purchasing products according to their needs.
Charitable Organisations & Partnerships
OptiBac Probiotics strives to support both the local community and those further afield. Wren Laboratories (the company behind the OptiBac Probiotics brand) gives an annual donation to Shine Charity, the association for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus. Since 2011, the company has donated 1% of its yearly turnover to the Aga Khan University Hospital Patient Welfare Programme in Kenya. In 2014, OptiBac Probiotics partnered with Womankind Worldwide, the international women's rights charity, with donations for selling every pack of OptiBac Probiotics 'For women'. Finally, a value close to their hearts is to deliver quality and value to the ever-growing live cultures industry, which, while still relatively young, is one that they are very proud to be a part of.
Live cultures, often known as friendly bacteria, refer to the microorganisms found in foods such as yoghurt, which may benefit human health. The term' live cultures' is increasingly used instead of "probiotics".
OptiBac Probiotics has a broad range of supplements tailored to various life stages or individual health needs. It includes OptiBac Probiotics "For babies & children", 'For women' and "For every day". Why not explore the full range to see which product or combination works for you and your family?
