Gilly Arbuckle
Gilly Arbuckle, B.Ost, qualified from the University College of Osteopathy in 2008. He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the British Osteopathic Association.
Gilly developed an interest in osteopathy after receiving treatment for a back injury sustained while caring for a man with cerebral palsy. Before training as an osteopath, he studied anatomy, physiology and holistic massage, and practised massage therapy for several years. This experience led him to further his clinical knowledge and complete a degree in osteopathy.
Gilly provides osteopathic care for people experiencing a range of musculoskeletal concerns, including back discomfort, postural strain, sports-related issues and dance-related injuries. His approach is based on careful assessment, clinical reasoning and individualised treatment tailored to each person’s needs.
He has a particular interest in movement, spinal health and the role of the deep abdominal muscles in everyday function. His research paper on the Transversus Abdominis and walking habits was published online by the British Association of Osteopaths.
Gilly aims to support patients in improving comfort, mobility and physical wellbeing through safe, professional and patient-centred osteopathic care.
