Toxic heavy metals

Toxic metals affect us regularly. Besides, the symptoms of those substances’ long-term, slow accumulation vary. Also, symptoms may not appear until later in life.

Moreover, they affect many biochemical processes and disrupt metabolism. Mercury, cadmium, lead and arsenic are known to be particularly insidious.

Insidious substances

MetalSourcesSymptoms
AluminiumCanned foods, foil, white flour, parmesan cheese, antacids, table salt, processed cheese, medicines containing kaolin, buffered aspirin, antiperspirant and tap water;
Food additives, some infant formulas, cow’s milk, baking powder, pickled foods, toothpaste, pesticides, cookware, cooking utensils, toothpaste
Memory loss, seizures, learning impairment, Alzheimer’s, insomnia, poor concentration, tremors, encephalopathy, depression, anxiety, dementia, calcium and phosphorus metabolism disturbances leading to osteomalacia and osteoporosis.
ArsenicInsecticides, paint, weed killers, drinking water, bleach manufacturing, non-organic wine, wallpaper, glass, coloured chalks, wood preservatives, rat poisons, household detergents and carpets;
Ceramics, sewerage disposal, curtains, car exhaust fumes, meat and fish treated with pesticides or antibiotics (for parasites etc.), copper-smelting factories and soil from the surrounding area and downwind (sometimes for hundreds of miles)
Degeneration of nerves in hands/feet leads to numbness, tingling and burning, drowsiness, liver damage, hair loss, anaemia, and inflamed upper respiratory tract. Also, poor memory and concentration, peripheral vascular disease, fatigue, dermatitis, head pain, irritability, liver damage, seizures, muscle tenderness, kidney damage, anorexia, and anxiety.
CadmiumPaints, coloured plastics, fertilisers, antiseptics, soil and air around industrialised areas, dental materials, refined foods, fish/shellfish and meat (liver/kidney).
Poultry, fungicides, cigarette smoke, petrol, sewerage sludge, waste incineration, coffee, refined grains, dairy products, solder, landfills, batteries, evaporated milk, cola drinks, marijuana, motor oil, rubber carpet backing.
Foetal growth retardation and developmental abnormalities, learning disabilities, zinc deficiency, emphysema, and poor intelligence/achievement/verbal tests.
Predisposition to lung and prostate cancers, possible predisposition to benign prostate hypertrophy, immuno-suppression due to white blood cell impairment – increased susceptibility to bacterial and viral infections, high blood pressure.

The elimination rate of toxic metals

In short, our bodies may eliminate insidious substances at a low or high rate. However, it depends on the health status of the organs of our eliminating system. For instance, the elimination rate of toxic metals continuously improves after colon hydrotherapy. So, we strongly recommend selecting a package of three to six colonic sessions.

LeadPaint chips, dust in and around homes and buildings, lead-based paint, solder, leaded glass, leaded petrol, pottery glaze, plumbing (lead soldered pipes). Also, batteries, ashes and fumes from burning oil paints, inks, food packaging, soil and the air around industrial areas, sewerage sludge, drinking water, newsprint, dyes, mascara, and hair dyes.Psychological/emotional/behavioural problems, for example, depression and hyperactivity. Besides, slow neurological reflexes. Moreover, fatigue, anaemia, vertigo, nausea, and decreased memory and learning ability. Also, poor intelligence and school achievement, colic and abdominal cramping, immuno-suppression
MercurySilver amalgam fillings, wood preservatives, fish and shellfish (especially tuna). Fungicides, fabric softeners, sewerage sludge/disposal, mercurial diuretics/ointments/antiseptics, floor waxes and polishes, cosmetics, cinnabar.
Besides, film, photo engraving, contact lens solution, industrial wastes, paints, felt, tattooing, plastics, vaccinations, adhesives, laxatives, psoriatic ointments, skin-lightening creams and body powders/creams.
Psychological/emotional disturbances include apathy, depression, irritability, anxiety and insomnia, and cognitive impairment. Neurological symptoms include gastrointestinal complaints, irregular heartbeat, chest pains, high blood pressure, immune suppression leading to yeast overgrowth, viral/bacterial infections, predilection to auto-immune diseases, congenital disabilities, stillbirths, miscarriage, infertility, and disorders in the mouth.
NickelTobacco smoke, electronic devices, hydrogenated oils, air/water/soil in and around industrial areas. Also, steel/metal alloys (jewellery, prosthetics), dental work and bridges, hydrogenated fats, and stainless steel cookware.Contact dermatitis, eczematous dermatitis.
