HYPOTENSION - high blood pressure

In hypotension, systolic pressure is below 100 mm Hg, while diastolic pressure is below 60 mm Hg. The arterial can be primary and secondary.

Forms of hypotension

Primary or essential, it has two forms:

  1. Constitutionally/hereditarily determined regulation of the vascular tonus and arterial pressure within existing physiological limits;
  2. A chronic disease with typical symptoms: weakness, dizziness and increased fatigability. Besides, headaches, drowsiness, slackness and propensity for orthostatic reactions are on the list. Also, faints, motion disease, heightened Thermo and barosensitivity (neurocirculatory asthenia).

Medics may define secondary arterial hypotension in the case of some infectious diseases. Bronze disease, a stomach ulcer, myxoedema, anaemias, hypoglycemia, acute and chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, etc., are on that list. Some farmaceutical products can also provoke it.

How to treat hypotension?

Every day 1 day

As we’ve said before, you must treat any diseases that cause hypotension. If the root cause is vascular dysfunction, then the most effective remedy is training the vascular wall. It all depends on the patient. If he regularly and continuously pays attention to simple rules, there is every chance to equalize the pressure to normal levels and not suffer from annoying symptoms.
What would I need to do then?

  1. 20-minute gymnastics

Every morning, a 20-minute gymnastics or half-hour walk is a natural step.

  2. Hot-cold shower

Go for a contrast shower (hot-cold) and massage in a circular motion with a natural brush from the bottom up throughout the body. After showering, rub with a towel until the skin is red.

  3. Massage

Massage courses are helpful. It can be general, lymphatic drainage, water, or apparatus massage (LPG, pressure therapy, etc.). Beauty salons typically offer these treatments.
    De-stress full body massage

  4. Outdoor sport

It is necessary to engage in outdoor sports as much as possible, especially in winter, and when you come home, you must take a contrast shower.

  5. Vitamins

Nutrition should be saturated with vitamins A, C, E and P because they affect the function and condition of blood vessels and the peripheral nervous system.

  6. Herbalism

Decoctions of adaptogens such as ginseng, golden root or elecampane well normalized vascular tone.

  7. Give up coffee

Be careful with caffeine because two cups of coffee or tea a day can raise low pressure. However, excess caffeine can have the opposite effect, provoking drowsiness.

  8. Sleeping

Be sure to sleep at least 8 hours a day because it is vital not to overwork.

  9. Holidays

Rest in the middle lane (and not in hot climates). Swimming in not-too-warm reservoirs will also significantly improve the well-being of a person with hypotension.
